Three tools serious Internet marketers need and use to make money online.
The question must be asked. If you are trying to make an income online, then
are you serious, or, just playing around? Because, if you seriously want to
make money online and someday cut off the drive to work, then you need to
take some action in setting yourself apart from other affiliate and Internet
marketers. And, the first step in doing this is going out and getting a domain
name to operate under. Having your own website gives you the ability to
control your affiliate links as well as communicate with your visitors. Once you
can call a website home, you’ll need a way to collect and distribute money.
This, again, gives you and your website a business-like profile to build trust with
your visitors. Now, the final piece of the puzzle is the automation of email
communication. This piece alone is the prized secret of all Internet marketing
gurus. Autoresponders gives your message a 24 hours a day promotion. It
never sleeps, gets sick, or goes on vacation. Just works, works, and works.
So, as you see, within one paragraph I’ve told you the (3) three tools all
SERIOUS Internet Marketers need and use to make money online.
Tool #1: domain name, website, and email address.
Personally, I use Global Domains International because of the cost involved and
the simplicity and organization of the GDI's .ws system. You can control every
aspect of an online business right from one place...including hosting and
organizing multiple website, which I do. I have other websites with other hosting
accounts, but my main problem is in email account access and website
creation...and, I have built websites at Yahoo!, GoDaddy, Jumpline, WebPress,
and a few others. For beginning marketers, GDI is the Number One tool
needed to jumpstart your path to an online income. It gives you an easy to
create Professional appearance as easy as writing an email. And if you know
the effective way to use the sitebuilding system, (I can show you how, quickly
and easily) then creating a solid residual online income is possible while you
are still learning to become a Professional Internet marketer.
Tool #2: merchant account to accept credit card payments.
Again, personal preference will come into play again, only for the fact that I have
used many different ways to accept and pay-out money over the Internet. I have
had a certified merchant account through a local bank and could process credit
cards online. The only problem being is that I personally had to manual process
and batch all transactions...waste of my time as a marketer. Along comes ebay
and PayPal, and I hoped right on board...I have used this primarily for over 4
years...I do have AlertPay, e-Gold, ClickBank, EasyPay, and a few others;
however, people trust sites with the longest track records...and, I use and trust
PayPal...you should, too.
Tool #3: autoresponder system to collect direct marketing list.
Here is the tricky part. I bet just about any and every autoresponder system on
the Internet works to perfection...and, are worth every single penny or dollar a
person pays to use such systems. No matter what you pay for using an
autoresponder system, IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! That system alone, if used
properly and continuously, will flood your in-box with qualified leads for
businesses you promote and utimately generate sales from the same people
looking for information from you. My recommendation, hmmmm, who knows...
every one will work! Plain text or html text. Doesn't matter. Both work. I have
used GetResponse, ConstantContact, but now use FreeRotator because of it
is simple to use and a tiny bit cheaper because of no affiliate program attached
to it. Ease of use is a great teaching tool...it is easier to teach someone the
basics of an autoresponder system without all of the technical webmaster
problems.
In conclusion, a serious Internet marketer needs these tools and the ability to
use and teach the tools to effectively make money online. With these three
tools, an Internet marketer can align and sell with any company, product, mlm
program, traffic exchange, and you name it. With a verifiable domain address
under your control, you now control the Internt...you just need to go out and tell
the Internet where it needs to go...right to your website...get the visitors to either
click your affiliate links or leave their contact information on your autoresponder
system which will direct the visitor again to your affiliate links and back to your
website. Your website becomes a vicous money generating cycle. Go Get it!
